Right im taking over lol. Cam thats looking more and more like the case, im thinking that the ECU is likely not the one that originally came with this loom (as in its been in a 106 with an immo) if that is the case. Im going on monday to see whats what. We ran out of time last time i was there which is sort of why we left it at the relay. Ill go through everything possible to determine weather it is the ECU or not.

So monday will consist of:

Fitting Track rod ends
Fitting Exhaust
Fitting rear brake lines
Brake bleed
Sorting Fuel issue

Await update on monday evening.

I think personally jay it would be better getting this on the road in its current state so you can enjoy the work you have already spent so long doing then if you do wana 16v supercharge turbocharge or we at least you will have some experience and had some fun with all the work youve done :)

afraid not, was lookign forward to having the 1.4 rallye engine in mine so i could build my jp4 engine up properly and still use the saxo so i could sell the bmw

but now it looks like im gonna throw the jp4 engine together (within reason) lol and get it fitted in the saxo but that might not be until uni is over, as i cant justify spending a day not doing uni work, im itching for some good weather, no uni work and a fosters in my hand working on my beloved saxo again :)

If the right offer came my way jay i might be tempted to sell my low mileage J4 engine, with gearbox (powerflex mount) full loom, unlocked ecu, brand new cambelt kit, water pump, tensioners still boxed. Engine also has cam covers painted in vht crackle paint. But I'm still undecided but throw me an offer you never know. (also comes with standard oil cooler, starter motor, alternator, brand new valeo clutch with a top of the range release bearing good for 350bhp).

I did his loom conversion, fixed it when it was installed in correctly, found out he had more ECU problems, fit some 266mm calipers and braided hoses on the rear, Wired in a twin fan setup.

It wasn't ever road worthy I don't, think I only worked on it twice.
