Iv heard westcoasts are not that far behind vtrs in power so will a 4 branch manifold, full exhaust system, decat and filter make it possibly the same?

1.1 westcoast? or 1.4
i think either way and with those mods you wont be near vts standards tbh.
all those mods proberly 15 bhp if your lucky... but thats my opinion

westcoast is a mk1 so im presuming you are referring to a mk1 vtr.
in which case there is only 15bhp difference.
not sure on the mods mind

lol@ 15bhp for those mods. try half that if you're lucky. and a vtr will still rip you for torque although iirc you have a slightly shorter gearbox (final drive). don't bother spending money tuning the 1.4, put either a vtr bottom end on it or just vts it (you could pick up a decent 16 valver for the cost of a full exhaust, manifold and filter, as long as you fit it yourself the cost will be near enough the same).

Lol m8
Manifold
De-cat
Exhaust
Induction kit
That is more than 7bhp, I can tell you that for nothing... Even if you got 20 bhp off them mods which you cant it would only be matching a vts, even then a vts has a shorter gear ratio i think so it will still win :P

1.1 westcoast? or 1.4
1.4 is WestCoast, 1.1 is the EastCoast. Both Mk1

thats ok no worries :)
As for the topic question it would take plenty more £££ for a westcoast to match a VTR. Ud have to dig deeper into your pockets

you keep believing what you read in max power mate, personally i live in the real world where real bhp increases cost real money. :)

the 1.4 saxos are slower than the vtr's but they do keep up on set off until the higher end of the revs then the vtr's just pull away

lol ye i do live in the real world! i do mean a vtr not vts sorry my fault i worded it wrong when i started the thread! shouldv put vtr's........i no it wont be any where near a vts most of my mates have gtis and they really go......think best option is to get the outside done then save for conversion!
