Right the time has come to make the purchase of all the parts for the vts converison

I have the money and have sourced the engine/box/loom.. basically the saxo has been rear ended and is in the lads garden in bits an he wants rid cheap cheap

What do i need

Engine/gearbox
ECU/LOOM
SUSPENSION

Im planning having this done by the end of march
Dont need the brakes as i will be upgrading :-)

Any help will get rep this is serious folks so i need accurate answers.. I know you wont let me down

there have been a million threads on this mate.... basically if you have access to the vts just strip everything from the firewall forward and you'll be fine (engine mounts, wiring loom, radiator etc etc etc). if you can run the engine while it's still in the vts then while it's running unplug the transponder box to stop the ecu unlocking, or if it has the transponder in the barrel then you just need to take the ignition barrel and transponder- black box which sits on the barrel.
edit- yours is 3 stud isnt it? rob the complete front suspension including hubs too as i dont think the vts driveshafts will sit properly in your hubs, then you'll need to find a vt* rear axle unless you don't mind running 2 different sets of wheels front and back ;)

yeah as sean said, def need the rad coz urs is a 1.1 ent it?

Yep the engine will run in the car been told it has piper cams,chipped ecu, 4-1 manifold.. The lad has receipts for everything so hopefully job will be a good un

Iv just bought a new engine for my mini. Agh i didnt want to do much to the mini but its so damn hard not to :sad:

if u get the complete car then u wont need the ecu unlocked as all the parts to start it will be on the car anyway, chip reader for the key and such like
