For all the 18ish people out there, if you want to lower your quote, try putting one of your parents name down as a named driver, worked for me,
I went from £1800 down to £1250 on a 2001 VTR, just by putting my old man on it, its my car and my insurance.
also having access to more than one car helps too, they think if you have a crash you might be driving a different car and claim off another company.
