its a long story
i begged the judge for forgivness plus my job did me proud, im a support worker, supporting people with learning difficulties and disabilities!! i need my car to do my job so they gave me 6 points (already had six for speeding) plus a £450 fine! basiclly transfered insurance from old car to VTR and drove old car to scrap yard thinkin i could drive it 3rd party on VTR insurance, but i own both cars, u cant have one insurance for two cars oops!! doh!! i pleaded extreme hardship if i lost my licence!! ive been pulled twice this month by coppers wanting to know how im still driving, two seven day wonders lol

erm... I can't remember what I was paying to be honest.
My insurance didnt really go up with my claim though. So I'm not the right person to ask.

Think I was paying something like £900 on my 1.4 Quiksilver. Then the year after it was 850 or something. But I changed cars anyway.

Sorry dude. Driving experience is the key, it generally goes down after the first year.

on daddys traders policy... been told i can hav any car upto a 1.6 (corsa vxr if i had the money) and any bike upto a 600 (although am allowed to ride my dads r1 for some reason) then wen im 22 anything upto 250,000££ which i imagine i wont ever be doing. origionally did it seperate me bike was 450 a year tpft then i got an extra ncb an it didnt go down so i left it amonth.. missed me bike so said id take it but it went up 2 3k!!! so i begged and begged like a lil bitch an he let me go on his.. with the condition of if i crash and its my fault dont bother coming home lol :D

This year they just sent me a letter saying they had found a better quoute for me than they themselves could offer, and that was priced at £1786 :wall:

So now ive got 1 years no claims, its going up by nearly £900? :panic:

quickfit did that to me, went up by 400, asked them why when i proved im a responsible driver by getting another 1 years ncb, and they are like doesnt matter lol, i was like wtf cancel my policy asswipe :fcuk:

I'm ecar and i got a furio and it's 2800 :( takes the fucking piss insurance nowadays for young drivers, how do they expect a 17 year old to pay 2800 quid?

and to have my car lowered i have to pay £392 on insurance just if i say i've got it lowered more than 20mm? is it worth it? in my eyes no but best 2 be safe. really want it lowered :(
