Fitting Saxperience stickers.

I have purchased some Saxperience stickers... How do I fit them to my car? Do they stick to the inside or the outside of the glass?

The stickers available from Saxperience are made from high quality vinyl, which normally has a life span of between four and five years... this is not to say the stickers won't continue to look great for longer however!

The vinyl stickers are supplied on a backing sheet, with a clear layer of application tape on top of the vinyl. The stickers have adhesive on their reverse side and are designed to be stuck to the outside of the vehicle.

The stickers will not degrade significantly through exposure to the weather. They are hard wearing and can easily withstand the force of windscreen wipers sweeping over them, as long as they are applied correctly.

Application of the stickers...

The vinyl stickers need to be stuck to the clear application tape, which will aid their fitment. To ensure the sticker sticks to the application tape in preference to the backing paper, place the sticker on a firm surface, with the clear application tape faced downwards.

Using a suitable scraper tool (rigid plastic or even a credit card) flat out the entire surface of the backing paper. This should press the vinyl sticker onto the clear application tape.

The sticker is now ready to be applied to the car. Ensure the surface you want to apply the sticker to is dry and free from dirt and grime. Peel the clear application tape away from the backing paper ENSURING that ALL of the sticker sticks to the application tape.

Align the sticker on the surface of the car and gently press the sticker into place. Check the sticker is level then flat out its surface, ensuring that any air bubbles are worked out from underneath the vinyl. Again, a credit card is ideal for doing this...

Once the sticker is fixed in position, wipe over the sticker's surface with a soft cloth. Remove the clear application tape carefully, ensuring that the sticker remains stuck to the car's surface.

Double check that the sticker is aligned properly... after all, nobody likes to see a wonky sticker! :p

And that's all there is to it...

Note: - Application of Design A/B stickers.

As the Design A and B stickers are much larger than the other designs of sticker, their application can be a little more difficult. To help with the fitment of the Design A and B stickers I suggest you cut the sticker into a number of smaller sections. This should help you to apply the sticker as its length will be much more manageable.

An example of how you could choose to apply the Design A/B stickers is to cut the sticker into sections containing...

www. | Saxperience | .com

First apply the Saxperience section to the windscreen, leaving sufficient space at either side to apply the remaining sections, whilst also aligning the whole sticker up centrally on the windscreen. Due to the curvature of the windscreen, I chose to slant the 'www.' and '.com' parts of the sticker upwards ever so slightly.

If you are not confident in being able to fit the sticker correctly upon first contact with the windscreen, it is possible to apply a small amount of soapy water to the windscreen, which enables the sticker to be re-positioned, whilst wet.

Once you are happy with the position, press the sticker onto the windscreen then allow the water to dry. Once dry, firmly rub the sticker to press it onto the windscreen.

Hopefully this should help you to fit the sticker without any embarrassing mistakes

I hope this information is useful to you...
