Ok so tbh Ive never really done a real trackday. And Ive been lately reading
up on whats needed for a full day of track madness.
Im undecided if I should take my
Superlegs on the track, if Im out there all
day and the brakes are cooking and Im going round bends with the tyres
all over the shop, I guess I risk damaging them.
But what
cheap alternatives are there for some simple track rims, Ive seen
some wheels on Ebay in the past, but atm theres nothing cheap with decent
tyres.
Cyclones would be nice, the
Speedline packages from 106parts come
with no tyres.
Also another consideration was I dont want to be running spacers. I noticed
that the
OZ Ultraleggeras come with an offset of
18 and would be great
for track wheels. And I can get them with tyres from a local shop:
The ideal set I would want would be these Speedline Corse ones:
A set of them went dirt cheap the other week, I soo missed out
Or do you reckon my OZs would be fine, Ive heard stories about people eating
through like 2 sets of tyres in a day. The tyres on the OZs are probably worn
down half way now. I dont think they would last long on track lol..
Any advise, mucho apprieco!
