Scrap Prices
Are they any good at the moment?
Got a collection of old tools, car parts and bike bits that i want to get shot of just wondering if there's any point dragging it to the scrappy or just lob it in the bin...

price for scraps pretty good at the mo, cars are going at approx £140/tonne, copper £1300/tonne and ally £1020/tonne

steels gone up then as i took some down the other week and it was £80/tonne, coppers come down tho, when i took the steel down copper was at £2000/tonne

May have to gather up a few more bits and take a trip then 
Are wiring looms worth anything as scrap? Have a few dash looms lying around...

insulated cable is worth money when i checked it was about £1800 but that was a couple of weeks ago. there is a website that list all current scrap prices do a google search

My old car got trailered away with no wheels, pretty much all parts off it, interior out, some engine peices gone, etc... Basically bare shell and engine and I got £50 for it lol.
Everyone else was going to charge me to take it away
