Default Newby and wanting a Saxo asap :)

Hello all

Just joined the forum as i've always had a soft spot for the Saxo's (even though i'm in my mid 30's lol)

I used to a member of the saxosportsclub back in 2003-2006 but it seems to have gone very quiet on there. I was going to buy one back then but invested in a Japanese import instead which I had for a few years but sold it recently.

I am however looking for Citroen Saxo and wanting to buy something asap, i know i can't viewed the cars for sale section yet, i will have to wait 30 days and post up at least 100 times on the site before i can which could take a bit of a while or else i would have on the cars for sale section on a daily basis

If anyone is selling a modified Saxo (as my previous car was modified and i can transfer the remaining insurance to a modified only car) then please do message me with details on here. The car must have good tax and test, service history and not accident damaged and not too high in mileage. I have already been looking on Pistonheads, Autotrader, Ebay etc but can't seem to find anything. I'm sure this owners club will have some good well maintained examples.

I am based in Leeds, West Yorkshire so anything local would be appreciated as i don't have any other transport to travel in at the moment plus working full time too.

Looking forward to finding my saxo on here

I was in a similar situation to you about 2 weeks ago buddy - I just paid the £10 membership thing tbh, the tech articles are very good.

Good luck finding a saxo - I found mine on piston heads already modified as per the spec in my signature below. Absolutely loving it, 2nd fastest car I've ever owned and definitely number 1 for most fun
