Default roll cage door bars

right..

got my mounting plates from the laser cutter friday
got my cage tubing

ready to weld the door bars in and cant work out the best angle..

does anyone have any pics of doorbars fitted as i`m not sure how high to mount the bars up the main hoop leg....

the cage DID have std omp ones but the previous cage owner cut them out and i cant make out where they use to go....

please help a man making his car even more impractical!!!!

ah nice 1....

thats lower than i`d thought but guess that makes gettin in and out easier

i think i can get away with keepin me door pockets (106 type BTW as they hold my leccy indow switches but the door pulls are making way for these babies




the finish ain`t amazing but they are SOOOOOOOO light!! and profile should clear bars...

just looking at the height of your seats i don`t think i`ll have the clearance beteen sill and the underside of the seat like you have..

arse!!!!!

i never got round to putting door pulls on lol. used to without now

i take you seats protude out then, or youll just have to run it above

yeah the section that comes up around ya thighs is tight against the door pocket and sits close to the inner sill as the seats are fatboy width corbeaus mounted through the floor ....

some more mocking up with the FIA spec broom handle is needed i feel!!!
