Top Gear - reg plate
im taking it that alot of you will have watched top gear last nigth. did anyone see what happened to the reg plate on the porshe richard hammond was driving?
when they stopped for "an argument" the front reg plate on the porshe was hanging off but there was another plate stuck underneath it. did anyone see this? why would they do this?

My thoughts would be they hide the origanal plate as one of the viewers could be a potential buyer of the car
Obvioulsy they dont want one were Clarkson has drive it burning the tyres out shouting POWWWWWWWWWWER!!!!!

Probably the real plate was under it? and a false one on top to stop theives? & if its going to be sold who will want one thats been thrashed for tv/??

Yeh saw that also....but dont see why they would be hiding an original plate. As im pretty sure thats just a test car. As after watching it last week with Richard Hammond in the Green GT3 RS was the exact same one Tiff Needle drove on fifth gear....same reg.

I saw it hanging off then it was put back...
Maybe its for insurance purposes? Like when you test drive an un-registered car.....

Could it be a trade plate?
I saw it a nd then it was back on, now what i was thinking if your a registered trader as such you put your trade plates on and your insured etc, so persuming they have got to be insured to drive the cars incase they crash etc, so that will be like his 'trade' plate as such maybe??
