Default vtr mk2 lowering

Hi guys just wanting to ask some questions about lowering my sax.

If I lower it down 60mm will I have to get shorter dampers or will the stndard ones be ok? and have any people had any problems from lowering there car this much? (already know about the power steering pipe)

and one last question how much would it cost to get the torsion bar lowered this much?

any help would be great
thanks

search mate !

but ill answer. shortened dampers yes for 60mm imo.

im down 50 front 60 back and have standards but thats because i beleive eibach sportlines work well with standard dampers. but sadly they dont go down 60mm and i wouldnt want just spax 60mm on standard dampers, would be harsh as fook.

problems, not really, just take it easy on speedhumps/multi storeys. you may scrape here and there but for the looks i think its worth it !

torsion bar can cost anything from free (if you do it yourself) or realistically, 40-90 just for torsion bar.

i got mine re-adjusted the other week for 60 quid.

ive got mine on standard shocks still never been a problem, only left them because they were new and didnt see the point in buying more tbh, but id buy some aftermarket shocks for sure

for the torsion bar there are a lot of people on here that could do it for you just ask in the local section, or you can take a trip down to manic motors and get it done there

http://www.manicmotors.net/

probablies a few hours drive for you

i'm on 40mm on the front at the minute, am going to go 50mm and uprate front shocks aswell. I got torsion bar lowered last week and it cost £75 and it took about 40 mins. That's lowered about 40mm aswelll.

Thanks for the help

I looked at the Pi suspension kit because am on a tight budget is this kit any good? and it shows clip on bumpstops if I just buy springs will the clip on bumpstops fit the original dampers and would this stop damge happening to the dampers?
