arhh help vtr died :s

Hey, my vtr recently cut out a few times, which i know is common for some reason or another... But now everytime i put my lights on/indicators/move my power steering, it cuts out.. i cant even move my car cuz as soon as i go to pull off it dies. It starts up straight away but then struggles to keep running and soon cuts out again, any ideas? all would be greatful.. thanks - andy

Sounds like a power related issue. If its starting up ok, i would imagine that the battery is fine, but maybe the alternator isn't charging it properly or maintaining the correct voltage throughout the system.

Check what readings you're getting off of the alternator and battery.

hey mate cheers for quick response, had new alternator bout two weeks ago cuz it was sending crazy signals out to battery lol.. that fixed the problems i had before. the other day when i was driving it i lost all power in car and was flooring it and got up to 25 mph on the carriage way, that was the top speed lol... but once i got it home for some reason i got power back. hasnt done it since.. but now this has happened hmmm,,,
