Default 2002 vtr battery light staying on constant

As above.. had the cars electrics checked, i.e alternator and all normal stuff by citroen and an independant auto sparky but have not found any problems.

the battery light has been on constant, has anyone heard or have they known of any problems in the past or maybe an instument panel problem?

Any help will be appreciated!

I assume you have checked to see if it is still charging?

If it is I would check the small plug that goes into the alternator, it has two wires and from reading a recent post it seems one controls the alternator light. this may be corroded or broken.
