Just got a Parking Ticket
For been 1 MINUTE! past what my ticket was for.
I could see the bloke there watchin his watch as i walked towards my car, so i checked my phone and it said 11:27, so i thought i had 3 minutes, got there and just as i put the key in the door, he slammed a ticket on my windscreen!
I said are you fuckin jokin, and he showed me his watch that was 3 seconds past 11:31
What a complete arsehole.
Anyway, i ripped the ticket up, threw it at him and said my phone says 11:29 so im not payin it.
Parking Wardens are officialy CUNTS!

indeed they are, my next door naighbour is the head of trafic wardens around my area, and he always tells me how he loves getting money of stupid motorist!!

I parked on the street other week and blocked the low kerb disabled bits so people in wheelchairs can cross road without having to wheelie up kerbs....was greeted by an angry man forking me from his flat window......

must be 70, can barely walk. I pay for 1 hour and leave the car all day. good times.

Sorry to be the bad guy.. but.. if you bought a ticket for 1:01:00.. then fair enough, but you bought it for 1:00:00..
If you went into a petrol station and put £10.50 of fuel in, and gave the womain £10.00 then drove off...
I know i'm not helping much.. but.. rules are rules. Some people take their job far too seriously.

i would have though you would check the ticket machines time against it... as surely that is correct to the time you got the ticket...?

if you really rippe dthe ticket up and threw it at him then thats a bad move. That will have been noted down on his report and most likely count against you when you appeal. The fine still stands, whether you ripped up your copy or not.
There is a guidline that if they are using electronic ticket machines they can issue the ticket straight away as the time is calbrated, documneted and printed out by the machine . If it was by hand and he was using his watch he has to give a 10minute leaway due to inaccuracies in peoples watches etc. Ive been warned by an attendent before who was using his watch who told me the above and how lucky i was the machine was broken and he was doing it by hand.
There is room to appeal but you should always keep your cool

I really am getting pissed off with the counsil lately
gona be even worse when fuel goes up 2p a litre in the next month or so for fuel duty tax.
