Default quick query

My saxo is currently lowered 40mm, i am going to get a set of 50mm springs in the next few weeks. I am also going to get the rear lowered by 40 or 50mm, not sure yet. I was told by someone that if you have a full car and the front and rear are lowered the same it will rub when you change gear because the back kicks down a bit when you change gear, it didn't seem right to me, just wondering if anyone knew if it was true or not??
