Default DATES FOR EVERYONES DIARY! French Car Show & Trax 08

I havn't seen anything yet with regards to this, i know Simo and the mods look at getting show organisation sorted pretty soon, but with New Year here lets get time booked off from work now and note these dates in your diary.

Whether you're a Saxp Show Regular or a newcomer, they're both great events to attend for the day or whole weekend if you join the majority at the chosen hotel.

Everyone is welcome and of course a friendly bunch too.

Aside from the show day itself the general series of events goes something like:

Saturday

Arrive at chosen hotel sometime after midday (Some friday depending on how far theyre travelling)

Book into rooms, grab a beer, do anything that needs doing on the cars. And meet/greet people as they turn up

Drink a little more, all go for a meal, chinese, pub lunch stylie or whatever else is available.

Continue with sociable evening watch and chuckle at Adsayer getting absolutely smashed, that is an event in itself.

Sunday

Make your way to the show ground

Get directed by Oz_bourne (usually) with his frantic hand signals into the stand.

Then throughout the course of the day theres loads to do from:

Walk around all the other stands and see the cars on show

See all the heavily modified cars (Hot Pants galore found in this area)

Plenty of trade stands so if you fancy purchasing a new mod for your car theres loads to be found here from strut braces, to exhausts, big brake upgrades, alloys etc etc

Have a go on the track with a few others from Saxperience, always good to watch to see who's hardcore track bitch and whos a pansy tootling round.

0-60 sprints (Here you'll find Viper rear ending people)

Have a go at the above yourself too, but dont go before Viper

then theres usually plenty of other entertainment going on with other clubs on the track, etc etc

Generally a good fun day out for all well recommended

You're free to do as you please

Simo usually arranges for a Gazebo to be put up in the middle of the stand (incase of rain) to gather in, chat etc. I fancy a BBQ this year *hint hint*

People generally wander back to the stand regularly aswel and get to know everyone.
