When i fitted all my audio stuff...i soon relised it didnt sound as good as my mates installed by proffessionals....this isnt the speakers or the cabling....but the final balancing?
Anyone know how to balance a system...

if you want to fully understand frequencies and setting them then have a gander on www.talkaudio.co.uk

I play it by ear when im setting my EQ's but pretty standard rules apply, like blocking bass frequencies to speaks and blocking high frequencies to subs etc...

if you are running a sub i would put the front and rear speakers on to hi pass and run them at about 125hz and a sub at low pass at 50-80hz.
