bank card fraud
just opened my bank statement to find 8 overseas transactions, which i thought was strange considering i havent been away for 18 months.they all seem to be something to do with betting as they read unibet international or win united.got straight onto the bank and there gonna do a full refund,it was only about 60 quid but i couldnt believe it,dunno how this has happend cloned card i guess(scammin c***s),just wondering if this has happend to anyone else

no not me - but i actually witnessed a bloke clonning cards at the hole in the wall called the cops and waited! he was loitering about the same machine - everytime someone withdrew cash he went back to that machine and was doing something - cops came - nicked him - end off! lol

i had about £400 taken from mine from a company called thrifty dvd and american porn dvd company!!!
i was like WTF my gf went mad at me. and i hevent even had any porn.
but £400 thats a shit load of porn dvds
got it all back tho

Mate had 100 odd taken, he got paid later that day and cleared it of about 400!
Horrible tbh... has this chip and pin worked to reduce credit fraud?!

i have just had a bill from a debt collectors stating i owe orange £660 for a phone contract i took out in september. well i haven't taken out a phone contract in september !! so someone has taken out a phone in my name.. gotta get all my details to the fraud dept. at orange and they will investigate. **really should hurry up with that.. i have not done it yet** lol !

Years ago I had £1800 taken out of my current account within 4 days.
Some bloke got his mate who works for the post office to intercept my new bank card, then look out for any other letters from Natwest in order to get the new PIN number... he used it at loads of petrol stations to travel around the UK etc.
Knew nothing about it till I got a call from the Police early one morning asking if I knew some bloke called ********* (can't remember his name now)... I said no... they said well he has your bank card on him along with a letter with a PIN number on it.
He got arrested for fighting with 2 Policemen, then when they searched his pockets found a number of different bank cards that weren't his.
I got the money refunded eventually, but somehow managed to gain charges for my account going overdrawn which the bank wouldn't refund!
