HEY PEOPLE, IM PLANNING ON BUYING A BMC INDUCTION KITS FOR MY 1.4 WESTCOAST, BUT IN THE MEAN TIME I BOUGHT A PIPERCROSS FOAM STYLE OF EBAY FOR 20 QUID NOT BAD BUT WHEN I FITTED IT I THOUGHT IT SOUND AND PERFORM ALOT BETTER SO WAS JUS WONDERING WOULD THE STANDARD AIR BOX WOULD BE BETTER THAN THE PIPERCROSS, ALL I FOUND WAS THE THE NOISE WAS LOUDER OTHERWISE THE THROTTLE RESPONSE WAS SLIGHTLY BETTER BUT IN TERMS OF POWER I THINK IT MATCHED THE STANDARD AIR BOX!!! ANY IDEAS SHALL I KEEP THE PIPERCROSS ON OR THE STANDARD AIR BOX????

No point in an induction kit unless its shielded from the heat!
Thing is they are located behind the engine and thus suck in its hot air!
