I used to work as a HCSW (health care support worker) at a local hospital, basically, a carer for the elderly.
Longest shift was a 7.15am start, then finished at 9.30pm (14 hours and 15 mins - never again!), longest week was about 70hours....
Glad im a poor student now!

I have done a few 12 hour's in my current job a few times now. It's annoying but if they buy it's worth it.

Working as a refrigeration engineer, 200miles from home at a shitty potato factory. Had to work in the roof void which was 2foot high. On my hands and knees for 6 days. It was also 50degrees up there as we was above a load of cookers. There was also 2" of potato starch on the floor which we was crawling around in. The sweat mixed with the starch powder and turned to a manky paste that got everywhere. We had to plum in 4 massive condenser units which entails lugging around about 200ft of 4" copper pipe in 15ft lengths. Exhausting in them conditions.
Monday to friday we worked from 6am till 11pm - back to the hotel, shit, shave, shower then sleep.
Saturday we started at 6am, finished and tidied up at 10pm, drove 200 miles home in a van with a 72mph speed limited. Was home at 2am sunday and slept for 18 hours

I once did 7am-7pm for a week , I was chosen to go on a promo trip which included 3 days at the NEC travel show! Had to set up the stand and pack up every day too... the other 4 days were spent in Manc and liverpool.
I was working for a hotel agency at the time
