this might be a dumb question, but i was wondering when you get your torsion bar adjusted does it make any differance to the stiffness?..

nope. if you uprate the shocks, this only controls the rebound, but the actual stiffness will still be the same. to get it stiffer, you need uprated torsion bars and anti-roll bar.

same as if you stiffen the front with stiffer springs, depends how much you stiffen it by. too stiff and the car will tend to slide, especially in the wet, but as long as you don't go stupidly stiff then yes the handlling will be improved.
