headunit wont rotate!!!

i got a kenwood mp3 cd player with the automatic roating facia. 4 sum reason now it wont rotate around, i can hear the things spining but the face starts to rotate then stops? would it be expensive for a shop 2 av a luk at it n fix it?
i wana keep it cuz i cnt afford a new one and plus im bak to my original tape player feel stupid playin tapes :@

how old is the headunit.

Reason for asking is i used to work for halfords and this problem normally occurs just after 12 months n it is verty expensive to buy a new face mechanism.

take the unit out and see if it works as the units get a bit tight in the cage.

its only a few months old, had it since feb 2005. tired everyfing n it still wont work, n plus how gud will it be if i have to hold it in my lap while im drivin

if its only 2 months old u shud ave a warrnaty so take it back

i didnt meen leave it out just take it out to see if it is crushed in the cage

well wen u buy a product thats of the bak of a lorry u dnt get a warranty. thats why i need 2 see how much it will cost 2 get it fixed, so i know wherther 2 fix it or jsu sell it 2 sum1 whos willin 2 fix it dme sleves?

simular thing happened on my Sony but i got it fixed under the warrenty, i think they said it would of cost about £100 to fix mine if i had to pay for it, apparenty they all go on sony and the display of the black pannel as they have a design fault but when they fix them the put a chip in the apparently and they never get them back after that !!

well i've sold the headunit for 40 now im just gona buy myself a sony explod, cuz they dnt seem to break?
