Banging From The Back.....

Hey guys!

Well since i bought my car its been banging from the rear end, at first i thought it was the boot as the latch was nacker (boot opened if i pulled away to fast!!!)

So i have replaced the boot latch so its now secure and ive moved the plate it fixes to down a little so there is NO play in the boot as before it was moving about.

But when im going over bumps in the road, pot holes, speed humps etc etc there is a banging from to back, it is also mainly happening when the passenger side rear wheel is taking the bumps, altho you stil get a litle bang either way.....

Ive pulled and pushed on the boot, there is no play in it.

Ive also had a play about with my new exaust (with the banging coming from that side), altho it was banging with the sandard box on.

Also the boot is a litle off line, passenger side rear light sticks out further..

Im just wondering what can be causing this, with there being no play in the boot now etc etc

Im just gettin abit worried cos if it is the boot im scared the window myt shatter soon! if its not the boot im woried to what it could be!!!!

Any help or advice would be great if anyone else has had a similar problem etc etc

If not im going to be taking it over to manic motors (north east company) to take a look.

it cud be teh black box behind the back wheels that allow air to flow from the boot.
mine just to bang and that was because this was broke and jst fixed it with abit of glue to stop it from moving about and no longer any noise.

also check there is nothing in your actuale boot lid inside the panel like something loose
that coudl be the cause of the sound

check the wiper motor is tight? also the boot allignment try unwinding the rubber stopper abit. might help it sit abit straighter
