If its the later on we've tried one really nice car lacking a bit of power but make up for it in everything else.
ST500 was horrible the though was 'whats the chav done to their st' with red brake calipers, black wheels and ford stripes.

you can get better cars for you money if its speed your after, Clio 172,182, poss 197 depending on how much your spending. personally love the 197 however in personal opinion i refuse to buy Renault's.
Also the corsa vxr's are coming down dramatically in price now due to the tax band!!
And my friend bought a focus st for the same price i got my corsa!!
the choice is endless!

as said, pretty nice cars but not quite as powerful as they should have been to compete against fellow junior hot-hatches. Like all Fords though pretty easy to tune. Despite book figures many magazines have struggles to get 0-60mph times better than the mid-late 8 second mark, when rivals are in the early 7s or even 6s.

The reason they werent made as quick as rivals was so they were more accessible to younger people with a lower insurance group that will = cheaper insurance + more likelyhood of younger people buying them.
Not even just younger people tbh lol
ok these are from parkers so give or take a few lol
Clio 172 = Insurance Group 16 - 0-60 mph 7.0 s
Fiesta ST = Insurance Group 13 - 0-60 mph 7.9 s
206 GTI not 180 = Insurance Group 14 - 0-60 mph 8.0 s
Civic Type R = Insurance Group 17 - 0-60 mph 6.4 s
& dont be fooled they can be modded to be just as quick as rivals.

Actually MK6 and MK6.5
Nice cars actually, nice to drive and handle well. Power isn't too bad to be honest.

Build quality - awesome
Drive - awesome
Power - not so awesome!
My mate has a white one with blue stripes, I love it, I was so badly wanting to buy one, but I am going off them a bit now!

generally theyve let the side down not having a 4x4 system on any of the new performance range.
however if you want big power then you get the focus... wouldnt make money if they had a 200bhp fiesta and a 220 focus.
its an alrite luke warm hatch, just not pushing the most out of the 2L engine.
