I didn’t really like them until I seen a VR6 this morning and I thought…hmmmmm!
It’s something I’d consider for the winter.
At the moment, car has no stone chips at front and it’s the way I’d like to keep it.
Are they expensive?

Hi guys,
A couple of years ago I started working for some guys who use the material designed for chopper blades to cover cars for protection. We developed iPod skins but I fell out with the guy I went into business with so it went nowhere - check some of our old work out on www.abs-creations.com Anyway, I highly recommend APF - they are http://www.airstream.uk.com/
It's not cheap, but I've had some on my iPod for years and it's great stuff. Hands on experience, beats bonnet bras by miles! It's so durable it's unbelievable - the 'key test' is real aswell just so you know.
If you give them a call and say you are a friend of the guys who started ABS Creations and they said to get in touch, they might be nicer on a price..I dunno. The name you want to drop is A. Smith - you met him through me if they ask (and as you know, my name is Alix).
Bloody hell, that's so confusing. So to sum it up - bonnet bras suck, APF FTW! Unless you're broke..or have more sense than spending loads on some film
Edit: Fucking hackers lol

Defo worth it - cheaper than getting your bonnet resprayed because of stone chips.
Ive got 1 because i spend 2/3 hours a day on the motorway and stones love my bonnet!

ditto.
They look good on eurod or german cars that have been reasonably heavily modded. But the point of them is stupid imo, cars get stone chips ffs, and its not gonna stop chips on the bumper or down the side of the car is it.
