Problems Starting & Missfiring - Saxperience

Morning All,

Had serious problems starting the other 1/2's car this morning. I serviced it around two months ago and had no problems until now. It has been very foggy here in the North East overnight.

I managed to start it and it just died on me then I thought I should give it a run to work and leave my car at home. Got about 50 yards and it cut-out again.

For about 3/4's of a mile it was missfiring, then after that it ran fine. Not sure if it's just down to old age. It's a 1.1x '97 R-plate with 137,000miles on the clock.

Any ideas??

It's not our main car, so I'm not too fussed if it gives up the ghost and takes a trip to the scrap yard.

Temprature Sensor possibly........my old VTS had the same issue, tink they are around £25........
