always HPI before you buy
bought my car over a year ago, as u all no its now written off, i just phoned them and they said they they cant offer me much as my car has already been written off.. on the 21st july 07!  so the tit that sold it to me ripped me off proper. but my fault for not gettin it checked. dont fall for the same mistake

it was £1550 offered, i phoned n said i wanted more n they said all they can offer me is the trade price as its already been wrtitten off! i was like ermmm no it hasnt n she told me all about it. gutted. said it would of been 1700+

My Ex sorted my Car out for me, told me he'd done all the checks! All fine.
Pfft, did one a few days after owning the Car. Was a Cat D 1 week after it was made!

I bought a car before, well put the deposit down on a private sale. Guy said it had been in his ownership for over a year and it had never been crashed. Thought I should HPI it so I did when I got home after viewing it, was gonna pick it up the next day. It had been a Cat C write off, and the last owner change was like a month ago so hed completely bullshitted me. Wasnt impressed, pulled out of the sale
