been seeing...
a lot of nice clio 172 / 182's lately
wouldnt mind saving up and getting one tbh. looking on pistonheads, they look quite neat inside etc
they seem to vary though in price.. from £3700 to £6000 or more.. with not much difference in age / milage
whats a reasonable price for one?!
also, whats the drive like?
and all the usual questions that go with buying a car?
this is mainly aimed at cal, karl, ryan and other clio owners.. but any input welcome

Went in a 182 trophy today and from my experience they drive nice.
Brothers buying one as his GTI is causing to many problems for him.
His is £5000

O hai. Best value for money would be a full fat ph2 172. Shit rims but can easily be changed for 172Cup Turini's. Good cars mett

yeah i was thinking a 02 or newer 172.. not much difference between the 182 and 172?
seen a few for under £4k
heard not to get one if cam belt hasnt been done
enlighten me on the world of clio's cal lol

Just the 182 mani is better and wider track and newer lol. If you want the extras go for a full fat 172. Cups are just the lightweight ones with no extras. 172s come in fewer colours too. Ph2 172 FF imho

Handling is great and power is more torquey than an vts and better higher up acceleration
