Default crushed manifold any ideas?

massively annoyed ! had my new manifold on about 6 weeks. i finally got the car running right wiv out the engine management light comin on for the first time in i dont no how many months an within a day i caught my mani on a bump in the road. collapsed a good third of it! does anyone av any ideas or no any one who can fix this or any DIY ideas how to fix it? help massivelt appriciated! cheers!

try a motorcross bike shop/ mechanics, they may be able to fix it the way teh fix the 2 stroke exhuasts.

nice one mate ill give it ago. i got the engine management light off by replacing the pre cat LAMBDA sensor (45 quid) and the MAP sensor (25 quid direct from citroen) then borrowin my mates diagnostic machine and resetting the error codes

Bring it to me and il cut out the old and weld in a new section but be aware I am an apprentice lol.

im a welder an all mate, i wud of done that my self if it was an option but it wud be hard to get another piece and weld it in coz it a massive part of the manifold thats crushed

mild, its been arc welded by the looks of things. and very badly at that, ive done better welds pissed out of my head the morning after lol. they were that bad that i had to grind the insides out coz they had burnt through far 2 much.

Well I went drastic with mine. I cut it in half, heated it and the battered it into shape. You might want to weld a rod on to the dint. Then heat the shit out of it in a vice and pull the rod to bring the dent out?

Thats what you want to do mate. Get the manifold in a vice so you can pull the bolt.
