VTS guzzling petrol???
I bought a mk1 VTS about 3 weeks ago, all is running well so far, however maybe its just me but i swear the thing does about 20mpg lol. Even short shiftin and eco drivin without goin over 3000 revs the car seems to go though a hell of alot of petrol. Does anyone else find this? I knew it drank alot more petrol then a VTR but im goin through 20 quid on petrol every few days, barely travellin great distances.
What MPG do you lot get or rather, how many miles to a full tank?

As above, probably needs a good service. May have dirty plugs, filter full of shit etc.
My VTR dos about 50mpg with careful driving, I'd expect a VTS to do maybe 35-40 mpg.

If you dont service the engine properly as said above, it can reduce performance

Pushing it doesn't count
Regular servicing every 6/7 ish and keeping on top of maintenance should keep the MPG good and the engine running well.

380 miles on my last full tank (red light to red light) usual mix of town and motorway driving, mostly short trips of 3 miles max.
