Question Overheating Light on

Hi the temprature overheating light keeps coming on in my wifes car usually when she is going down the motorway, but seems fine around town, although it is filled up with oil and coolent. Does anybody know if this is a commen fault and if there is an easy solutuion to rectifying it?

Many Thanks Lance

you should get the car checked asap as if the light comes on then it could be the headgasket. saxos are common for running slightly high temps but sometimes it is due to dodgy thermostats
