Taking G/f away for B'day.. Finiancial issues.
Right.
As most of you are aware, i'm taking my g/f to London for her b'day.
Almost all her b'day presents are brought expect the ring (need the size so traced around her current ring lol) and just a few little things.
Right, were goingt o London by train. I've got Tax and MOT due this month and was looking at train ticket pries. Its like £33 PP return, thats like £66 for both of us AND i'd hacve to pay for tube tickets (£12 each?) so thats like £90 gone on Transport.
I don't want to sound the mean boyfriend, but i don't think i could afford her train ticket to and from London at that price. Would it be a wise idea for her to pay or start selling stuff on Ebay? I need advice but don't want her to get upset.

Shouldn't you have sorted that out before arranging to go to London?
London isn't cheap so even without the money for transport, eating/drinking out as well as visiting places can be expensive so if you were having financial issues, surely London shouldn't have been thought about

Yer i suppose i can't really make her pay.
I have NOTHING to sell  ... Well there is one thing (CD player for car)
I doubt parents will lend me a smacker.
Oh.. this is so hard lol..
I mean i have enough money, but its Tax and MOT thats fucking me up.
should be getting about £400 + the money in my bank between now and her b'day
I'll pay for her.

Btw, remember that you can get 2for1 entry on loads of London attractions when going via train
And... it's cheaper to buy train tickets well in advanced. Also look at when you want to travel (peak/off-peak) as that has a major impact too. There are other ways of cheap tickets too (e.g. buy singles as opposed to returns). There are a few tips to save a bit of money

I'm doing all the attractions 2 for 1. Is this only for Themes Link?
I could go to the torist info centre and get cheaper tickets but would i loose out on the 2 for 1?
Man.. I'm confused when it comes to tickets. I want to leve bedford at about 8:40am to meet g/f at leagrave at 9am to get into london for 10am. and return from London at about 11pm.
Friday 31st too.
Any help on tickets and i'll defo rep you, if not twice repped!

travveling on the same train line as you would be
