Default Mk1 Saxo Door Speaker Sizes?

Hi guys
just went and bought my first car
... saxo !
just fitted sony xplod stereo in it
however speakers are nakerd
need some new ones
ive seen some 4" sony xplod for front doors
however been told they should be 5.25" im not sure what to do
any help would be great--!

I asked the same question yesterday because i wanted to know if my 5inch front components from the old fezza would fit ma saxo 1.4 westcoast & apparntly they will fit nicely so i think ur looking at the right sizes mate, about 5"/13cm

Im not sure yet pal, getting the saxo weds but iv fitted front componets and tweeters to my mates vtr as a mark 2 but tbh that was quite easy as long as u have a good idea about all the wiring and stuff

well is it a case of
wiring them up same as u take the old ones out?
should it needs cutting in anyway or should they drop it nicely?

Well obvs with tweeters the wiring gets a bit more confusing....but other than that they should drop in quite nicely, they did with the vtr & im sure they'll be alrite wen i fit mine to the sax...jus a case of crimps and away you go!
