Benefits of a chip?
Hey guys, im pretty new to all this modding stuff, i have a VTS all standard, i wanted to get it tuned up and have a diagnostics ran on it because it was mis-firing abit, so i rang up a company in redruth (cornwall) and they said thats fine, and they can also fit a chip in it for me for a cost of £225, so what im wanting to know is, what are the benefits of this "chip" and are there any dis-advantages? thanks for all youre help

cures hunger.
You need to find out off them what this "chip" is as imo it will be a waste of money.
There isnt really such a thing as a chip.
Personally i would always get the car remapped.
