Unhappy Help!!!!

Urgent help needed. The mrs has a x reg vtr, had a clunking sound from the front end of the motor, had a broken front spring so replaced them the clunking continued asked around and was advised change the drop links done that still the clunk, possible drive shaft fault ? replaced both still the F**king clunking. Can anyone help its becoming personal

drive shaft me thinks but check everything is tight down there

Have put new shafts both sides the mrs drove it today and said it was no better, will be going to check alls tight in morning. As a diy mechanic i really need to find some one in the area that knows their saxos

I think i have same sound, is it went you have just come out of a tight corner? originally i was told it was my exhaust hitting the gearbox but have had this fixed and i still have the sound i am puzzled at what it is as i have had it in the garage twice and they cannot find the problem.

when your motor went into the garage did you have any parts replaced if so which parts ? maybe between us we can work out what the problem is. Im looking at maybe it could be bushes.

have you tryed the nountin at the bk off the gearbox it was thet in myn or whishbone bushes

Cheers guys, had a few people say about the top mounts. BUT she is going in the garage tomorrow morning at 8 so hopefully should know and will post the diagnosis tomorrow eve
