Default Cheap Hot Hatch

Im looking at prices for a cheap hot hatches. I saw a thred on her the other day with a lad with a lot of money but i dont have as much to spend i was thinking around 3k maybe 4 if i bust a gut at work for a few months. As ive got to pay for the insurance as well

I know youve got the obvious like VTR / VTS (Id rather have a VTS cause youd see some 1 with a VTS when your in a VTR and wich you had 1 of them insted)

And maybe a 106 Gti

But i was thinking lowest milage possibe for age and nothing over 7 years old

Ye i wouldnt mine somthing with 80,000 if it had a pretty gd serive history. But i was looking at the best version of the model.

Like the punto (A 1.8 HGT ) so youve got one over other punto drivers. If you get my drift..

VTS, 106 GTi or Clio 172 if you're looking for a good example of a low priced hot-hatch.

Either of the 3 above I think.

You could also get a Mk4 Golf GTI turbo for that sort of money, but they aren't particularly good cars in 150 bhp form.
