Was driving home from work today and without realising slammed into the biggest pot hole i have ever seen. took a nice scrape out of 1 of my rims, is there anything i can do 2 smooth them off?

i was havin a little flick through max power and thier was a page on where to go 2 have your your wheels re-done, but it said prices from £200-£1000 depending on finnish, if thatsthe case i might aswell buy 1 new wheel.

little companies who do scratch repair etc normally do them
i got one of my dads wheels quoted at £30 for repair!

im sure ul find somewhere local, i think the price quoted will be for all 4, stil bit expensive, theres a place up in north east that charged 40 per wheel, so anywhere round that price would b good

ive just spotted an alloy repair kit in halfords, would that be worth gettin or just go 2 sum1 local?

should cost around £30-£40 to have a wheel refurbed. the cost only adds up when you start wanting the wheels painted/powder coated/diamond cut etc.

Can any alloy be painted or does it have to be in the plain silver, because mine is called hi power silver which is just more shiny.

you can get it painted any colour you want as long as it's prepped properly.

lol i work at the autoparc right near newcastle dont know if ppl have heard of it like lol its got 1200 on one big pitch, but we have everything there repairs to alloys ,painters , dints, auto sparks, mechanics etc and they r all mobile and give me discount, depending where abouts ur from i will get the number to alloy repair,
probs useless info like but
