does anyone know how low i can go on standard suspension, im finkin 40mm but im not sure wheter it ul make the handling worse?? help!

Why not just buy a set of springs & lower it 40mm on them, that will be fine & the handling will be improved too. Will cost around 40 notes for springs then however much will cost to get lowered in your area!

shouldn't really go lower than 40mm on standard shock absorbers. even if you fit uprated shocks, anything below 50mm and the handling will suffer but in the end it all depends whether you want handling or looks.

u can go up2 (or down) approx 40mm on stadard shox but the rate of the shock will obv be diffrent to that of the lowerd spring and will wear out quicker. best bet fella is buy the kit, then at least u no the rate will be right for the spring, an may not even sacrifice too much handling.

alrite cheers the plan is for handling, me an me m8 r gonna av a go at the back 2moro, got meself a slide hammer
prob jus fit springs for now and get a kit afta crimbo wen i got sum money agen,

Lowering the torsion bar is not something you should attempt yourself without knowing fully what is involved. It is not as easy as it seems.
