Default Update to new lower arm... kerb crash!

Hi Guys,

Following my recent post, i have tried to acquire a new lower arm. The one on ebay the guy sent me a link to was only 10 miles from me, so i drove there as it was listed at £23, when i got there the guy wanted £52, i asked why and he said the ebay one is direct shipment. Knowing i needed it i asked him to do it at 50, 2 quid off, he said no, so i decided to walk away. I then went to andrew page, he told me £90 plus VAT, and he gets them at £70, and told me the ebay one is not an original and is likely to break/bend very easily, i walked away from this, Following that i took the car to a garage and they put it on the ramps, he said for the cost of fitting etc, it isnt worth it and probably better to just crow bar the bottom arm back into place, as its bent back slightly and a little twisted.

What do you reckon?

Thanks

New wishbone, that crash has caused a lot of stress to the wishbone and trying to bend it back to shape would be pretty dangerous, it would snap in no time.
