Did you book your accommodation before you went or just get it when you got there?

Well the accomodation was there ferry, the thing was we got to the ferry at 6pm thursday, set sail at 9pm thursday, got there at 9am friday, then a coach to amsterdam, got there at 11, spend all day in amsterdam, then we got back to the ferry at bout 8pm friday and set sail at 9pm then we got home saturday morning at 9am.

So we had 2 nights sleep on the ferry for a day in amsterdam, bt it was a good laff gettin pissed on the ferry and that.

Tbh if i was in your position now id start sending emails to hotels and that to book some accomodation, if not just turn up and book yaself in lol, we saw hundreds of different hotels and bed and breakfast's.

Hotel Damrak - cheap and very basic but comfortable and couple of mins from dam square etc.

Hotel Rho - slightly more money, but still pretty cheap (booked through www.hotels.nl/amsterdam. Very nice place to stay really, but its slightly more respectable than some places. Having said that, they weren't bothered about a group of 8 lads staying last year, or coming in shitfaced in an evening lol. As long as we weren't too rowdy, they wasn't bothered.
