Hi

My beloved Cyril (the citroen saxo that I have had for nearly 5 years)has just failed his MOT!!
Apparantely the rear passenger side brake is weak and did not stop when I needed him too.
Dad has had a good look, and none of the usual faults were found.
Brake shoes were fine..cylinder on wheel has been replaced, brake fluid is okay, brakes been bled etc etc...but still no change.
Can anyone out there please help.
Cyril has been poorly now for over a week and I am lost without him.
Hugs and kisses to you all.

Hi there,

this may have something to do with a valve called something like "rear load compensator"

its found under the car near the rear, and it might need adjusting to make the rear brakes more responsive.

Do not take this is FACT though, your best bet would be to buy a Haynes manual from Halfords (or similar) and check in there
