does everyones fuel pump prime on second turn of ignition or make any noise at alll??? my friends vtr doesnt jw if anyone else hears this noise.

If theres no noise,the relay which controls the pump may be faulty

well when the key is turned the relay clicks then clicks agin so i dont know but i fitted it as the old one was the same but car wudnt start. the car started when i put other one in but still makes no noise. hows this possible?? also this thin after bout min or so leaked everywere under pressure.

thats your fuel pressure regulator. try pushing it back in cos it looks like its sitting too high, and your also missing the retaining clip from it.

ye i pushed it into its little indent it sits in. what clip do you mean? i still dont understand why his makes no noise but the car start and runs although this thing after a min squirted fuel everywere what cud it be

the only connector it has is the big plastic fuel line clip cos the rubber one is a vacum the one at the bottom is fitted.they all should be the same

there should be a thin metal clip what keeps the FPR in place.

i still dont get it. why would it leek out of the left of the fpr?? and why doesnt the fuel pump make any priming noise ??
