Default Engine managment?

Finally got around to pluggin it in and it came up as

Ageing catalyst?

Has anyone had this before or know anythin about it? i'm guessin it means my cat is on its way out or the second lambda sensor is faulty?

thanks in advance

Hi, yes it does help and your diagnosis is bob on.

Mk2 VTRs have a second sensor after the catalytic converter and it is reporting that the cat is not working properly.

Always a good idea to change the sensors too as like the cat they age too. Especially if you spend a few bob on a new catalytic converter.
