Getting bored of the beamer!
i sold my vts a few months ago and brought a 330ci Clubsport but ever since im missing the fun of a hatchback, dont get me wrong the beamer is fast but doesnt realy seem that fast as its so comfy! 0-60 in 6.3s and top speed limited to 155.
I dont realy want another vts again but im thinking something smaller than the bm.
anyone else found a bigger car boring after owning a saxo!?

i went to nice big cars then came back to basic hatchbacks tbh, i cant be doing with luxurys i like a car that makes me want a drive and not do all the work for me. problem with all the new hatches is theres too many health and safety features. i love your beemer tbh though id keep hold of that and play with the engine but i bet your up against what i was up against with a v6 engine mods dont come cheap lol.

i dunno, the beemers very nice. getting back into a saxo might feel a bit shitty. fun yes, but a bit nasty. always did to me. personally i'd never want another saxo again if i had a 330. i know what you mean about big car feeling slower though. how old are you?

Clubsports are great! It's a different sort of car all together though! That's the sort of car that excels at high speed cruising and dual carriageway blasts at double the speed limit and it's rwd so will always feel totally different and not the same around town.
Try a megane R26 for an intermediate car, nearly as fast straight line as the beemer and great to chuck around.

I changed to a bigger, more 'sensible' car from a VTS also. Sometimes I do miss the chuck-ability of the S, it was a laugh, but eventually you learn to move on from that onto more serious cars which offer many advantages in other areas. I'd only go back if I needed to save money tbh, otherwise its onwards and upwards.
But if you're missing that naughty teenage hot-hatch fun feeling, then by all means go back, plenty of little crackers to choose from.

That has worried me about getting another car. I'd hate it if it felt slower.
AlexR makes a good point.
I'd still stick with the beemer though.
How about buying a cheap 205 Gti and going to a few car shows and doing track time, like Trax?

I cannot see how the Golf is going to be much different to the BMW in terms of what you were saying you were 'bored' of.
