Alrite guys im in a bit of a dilema! im trying to sell me vtr to buy a new car, a honda civic coupe. But they are slowwww (can only insure the groupe 10 LS for 1600tpft) but ive just run a quote and found that i can insure a vts for 1800. This will obviosuly be a bit higher coz id just drop the new engine in as a conversion. but will mean ill keep the original parts that ive put on the car with out making a huge loss for a lot longer! I really dont no what to do what do you think guys? try not to be too biased towards the VTS being a saxo site lol! But id like a bigger car, but i also enjoy the speed!

Blue furio***
I get what u mean with the saving if i sold me car id have enough for an LS or SR now, but i duno, i want speed and a car with presence, everyone round my way has saxos now and to get a vts would be great to kick there butts but i want a civic coupe so bad. My plans are sell me saxo, buy a civic coupe do the bodywork and other cosmetic stuff to it, and then...... get eitha a 2.2vtec prelude lump for it or a 2litre integra lump for it, instead of getting a 1.6vtec coz everyone will expect it then!
Only problem id have with that is insurance, its 1600tpft for me as an 18 with nearly a years experience after the VTR so its the best way for me, get the LS or SR for a year then get the lump.

well if you do get a civic do yuo know the work involved in putting a H22 in there? mayeb a B16a or a b20..?
imo you shouldn't put a kit on the civic!
make it JDM coil-overs, full exhaust system, 17's and it would be a super clean street sleeper.. bodykits are gay imo

keep the vtr for a few years, wait til you have the money to buy and insure and you have the ncb that will make you be able to afford that fully comp insurance
