Sore Painful Knuckle
I was P*ssing about at work and i thought i would try to smash a bit of wood from a desk. A mate at work (my karate teacher ) held it for me as he wanted to see if a) i could break it and b) i had the gutts to attempt it.
I know its stupid but it was fun at the time, until i punched it awkwardly! Now my knuckles feel fu**ed! I think i caught it with all the power on my two smaller knuckles and am in a fair amount of pain. I can move them all they arent broken i think i may hae just really bruised them or caught a nerve or something.
What do you recommend i put on it or do with it? At the minute ive grabbed a packet of frozen broccoli as thats all ive got in a bag.

Did something similar to a brick wall when i was angry, had a massive lump on my hand for about a week. Just keep it on ice every chance you get and it'll soon heal

Just been to the hospital and i have "broken" my 5th Metacarpal (also known as "Boxers Fracture") in my hand. It says that once healed i will loose shape of my knuckles ;( OMG!!

Its HuGE! lol its not too bad tbh but she has given me a sling to reduce swelling and taped my two fingers together i feel like a gilbert lol. I am also attending a hand specialist on friday.
From the x-ray it only looks cracked to me but she said broken :/

I hope mine doesnt look like that lol. You allergic to stings then?
Its only my right hand my left is formed normally lol, hopefully it might go back to normal she said that it will go back once the swelling has gone down but i dont think it will. When i look at it you can see clearly the little finger has been moved down slightly and doesnt sit properly next to the other finger.
