Default Side indicator electircal fitments...

my Mk2 2000 V reg VTR - early Mk 2 silver top but with cat in zorst model...

Im fixing her up... i came to replace side indicators... easy i hear you say....!!

Did you know there is 3 types of sockets for these dam things!!

One is a standard square brown socekt with a metal pin around it

One is a single piece oblong black no metel pin

Mine is a two part white and black male ad female style...
What a headache... i cant find my type if socket on any other saxo - 106 - 206 - 306... etc etc

would it be ok if i cut the wires and connect then to another socket style... ??

Hi,

Yes, there are so many differences between different model years.

Please find attached a diagram of the part you are after.

Its Citroen part number 632567 which applies to all Saxos from November 1998 onwards. So if you are hunting through scrapyards you can narrow the search.

This part applies from RPO 08058 onwards. You will find your RPO number on the paint code label on the driver's door hinge pillar. Here is a picture of Predator_VTR's paint label with RPO number: http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70007 which is 09199.
