25.4mm Rear Anti Roll Bar
Iv just spotted this on spoox
http://www.spoox.co.uk/catalog/produ...roducts_id=144
What do people think? Would I see much improvement over the standard 21mm one? Worth the money?

Would the 1.4mm make much difference over the 24mm one? if not then obviously im best off getting the 24mm one.

its roughly 7% more in diameter? Would that make it 7% more stiffer? Worth it for extra £100? Might make the rear a bit too skitish across bumpy roads?
I'm not sure about difference, but my 24mm one felt a lot 'tighter' than 22mm bar. I fitted it with group n shocks and gmc front springs and feels great!

You have the same shocks and springs as me then...I might just look at getting a 24mm one then. Where did you get yours from?

106parts.com with the rallyereg discount.
By all means go for the 25.4 one, just I can imagine it being a bit hardcore for standard torsionbars

dan.
set car up with torsion bars and shocks... then fine tune with roll bars.
dont try and define a cars handling with an arb.

The 24mm will make a big improvement, is perfect for the standard chassis and is what makes the 106 GTI better balanced through the corners and more adjustable on the throttle, you'll have to get used to the increased level of lift-off oversteer though.

24mm ones you get out of 106gti beams, you should be able to find one for much cheaper than 90quid mate!

Worth noting not ALL gtis came with them though so dont expect all beams to have one and get ripped off.

I went from a 24mm gti arb in my vts to a pugsport 25mm. I could tell the difference. Alot sharper if that makes sense? Although, i did change the rear beam mounts and the same time....
