Default Confusing amp wiring kit

Right im nearly ready to connect everyting ive got all i need. the amp wiring kit came today and im baffled by what all these connections are.

Theres loads of little connections but i have no idea what they do.
im guessing to connect speaker wire from a sub to an amp i just cut the end and clamp the wires in place on the amp? or is this totally wrong?

Sorry about the questions i just dont wanna blow the car up first attempt ive had. !

strip back more than you need and double it over before you clamp it

Alright thanks. btw while were here.

My amp is a "mono" amp... the JBL gto601.1 However it has 4 outputs for speakers, (looking like a 2 channel amp?)

And i cant find a wiring guide anywhere where a mono amp has 2 negative and 2 postative

Should have 3 main connecters, (Bat, battery, BT, + or anything like that) Which goes directly to the battery through a fuse. (Ground, GND, -, Earth...) goes to earth, anywhere on the chassy of the car. Then normally a smaller connection with varying descriptions like Live or Power, which goes to the head unit on the car. Normally a blue wire comming off the back of the HU labled remote or aerial. This just tells the amp to turn on when you turn the stereo on.

That's fine, a mono amp just has 1 channel, so it only emits 1 channel of sound. A 2 channel amp has 2, for example seperate left and right.

Posy/Neg should be sepperated either into 2 Negs then 2 Pos's or 1 pos 1 neg 1 pos 1 neg. Just wire the speaker symetrically. So if it's 2 pos's then 2 negs, first cable goes to the 1st on each then 2nd to the 2nd...

Some Monoblock JBL amps have 2 outputs on them yet they are linked
so it doesnt matter wether u use the 1st positive and 1 negative or 1st postive and 2nd negative terminal. if it isnt working its possible you havent Wired the Rem Cable?
this is a thin possible blue cable that takes a signal from ur headunit
ensure the RCA cables are plugged in both ends
that Power cable is attached to battery and the fuse isnt blown
that the earth has a really good connection and that the sub is 'on' on ur headunit
if not then possible fuses on amp?

Have you got the remote lead connected from the headunit to the amplifier?
